An update and a call for volunteers
As a valued Friend of Grayshott Concerts we would like to provide you with a few updates.
The date for the forthcoming Friends' evening has had to change for logistical reasons - please note that this will take place on Thursday 18th July, not Friday 19th July as previously advertised. The concert features Schubert's String Quintet in C Major and Mozart's G Minor String Quintet. The soloists will include London Mozart Players favourites Ruth Rogers, Simon Blendis and Sebastian Comberti and it promises to be a wonderful evening.
During the interval there will be a free buffet and refreshments.
And the good news is tickets are now available !
Tickets for the public concerts for the rest of year have sold spectacularly well and we have a long waiting list for the forthcoming Howard Shelley concert. I hope lots of you took advantage of your Friends membership and were able to claim priority when booking.
Please note the updated telephone number for Grayshott Concerts - it is now 01420 22432
Volunteers
You'll be aware that an organisation such as Grayshott Concerts can only survive with the support of volunteers who generously contribute their time in so many ways. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to help but especially anyone:
♫ |
Who has experience of fundraising in either the public or private sector.
or |
♫ |
Who has reasonable IT skills, is happy using Excel spreadsheets and is willing to learn how to use the ticketing system database.
or |
♫ |
Who would like to join the group who put up and take down the staging before and after each concert. It's a super bunch but they would appreciate some younger support ! |
